Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on various refrigeration systems and temperature-controlled units.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in refrigeration racks or single-unit systems, including leak repairs, component replacements, and system installations.
• Fabricate and install required supports and piping in compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately conduct repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Manage and document service tickets and project details efficiently, ensuring clear and prompt communication.
• Keep a service vehicle in excellent condition, stocked and adhering to all maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through superior service and clear technical communication.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 5 years of relevant field experience or 3 years with a Technical School Certification in HVAC-R.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and basic electrical principles.
• Proficient in handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials safely.

Preferred:

• HVAC-R Technical School Degree.
• Experience with specific brands and models of refrigeration systems is desirable.
