Job Summary: | The Transfer Admission Counselor position at Marist College is a dynamic, entry level position that focuses on the engagement and recruitment of prospective transfer & adult undergraduate students. They review applications to the College and engage in active participation including yield activities to ensure the enrollment of an exceedingly talented and diverse class. This position also includes an opportunity to travel to key community colleges and to interact with transfer & adult students, parents, community college counselors, and alumni. The Transfer Admission Counselor conducts information sessions on-campus and virtually, confers with admitted students/families, and contributes to the success of numerous visitation/recruitment programs. They will also have collegial interaction with several internal College offices and external partners. They will also have developmental opportunities in special projects in partnership with the Director of Transfer & Adult Admission, or other senior leaders in the Admission Office. |
