Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Mike Erdman Nissan. The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of customer service in our service department. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to the service department.
• Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle service needs.
• Advise customers on recommended maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle inspection results.
• Provide estimates for service work, obtain necessary approvals, and communicate timelines to customers.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
• Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicle and any changes to the estimated completion time.
• Upsell additional services and products to meet customers' needs and maximize departmental revenue.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions in the dealership's database.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with computer software and dealership management systems.
• Knowledge of automotive service and repair procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive service is a plus.
