Job Title: Construction Field Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Field Manager to join our team and oversee the execution of landscape construction projects with precision and efficiency.
Position Overview: The Construction Field Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of landscape construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all on-site activities, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  1. On-Site Supervision: Provide leadership and direction to on-site construction crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  2. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to verify compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and client expectations, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  3. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress, identifying potential delays or obstacles, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  4. Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, track costs against budget allocations, and identify opportunities to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
  5. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the construction phase, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing inquiries or concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with the final results.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and safety hazards on-site, implementing preventive measures and safety protocols to protect personnel, property, and the environment.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, change orders, and safety documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  8. Team Development: Mentor and train construction team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence in performance.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in landscape construction management, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build positive working relationships.
  • Sound understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license
