Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Custom Development department as a mRNA Process Development Intern. As a mRNA Process Development Intern you will learn to support process development technology transfer in an industry setting.
Project: You will focus on a project tostreamline tech transfer and assist in alignment of commercial capabilities of well established technology from the process and development team. In addition, the PD - mRNA intern will assist in laboratory procedures and experiments.
How you will make an impact:
- Collaborate with the process development team to analyze experimental data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Participate in laboratory meetings, seminars, and discussions to broaden knowledge in the mRNA field
- Meet with cross functional teams to learn and support on going projects
- Train on basic laboratory skills including pipetting, weighing, making buffer, and analytical characterization
- Assist in the execution of molecular biology technique such as digestion, IVT, and TFF
- Prepare and present a project overview or poster with results to the department
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Must be pursing an undergraduate degree in the life or physical sciences. Preferred, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or similar
- Experience in school or other laboratory setting
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both in a team setting and independently
- Experience with word, excel, and PowerPoint presentation
The Summer Internship Program is a 9 week program beginning on June 17, 2024 through August 16, 2024.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
