Kaiser Permanente’s Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Research Scientist II (equivalent to an academic associate professor) to join our research department, Mid-Atlantic Permanente Research Institute (MAPRI). This position is a full-time opportunity based out of Rockville, MD with a hybrid work model.
Reporting to a Research Director, the Research Scientist II will design and implement major cancer health services and cancer epidemiology-related research projects. Please note, this is not a basic research or bench science position. As part of this position, you will lead applied research projects, secure grant funding (federal grants, foundations, industry), and disseminate results through peer-reviewed journal publications and conference presentations/abstracts.
