MANTIS SECURITY is Hiring a Windows System Administrator Near Herndon, VA
What You'll Need:
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
- Bachelor’s degree in an area applicable to the position with 8 years of relevant experience. Additional 4 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- A minimum 8 years of experience with systems administration
- Active Security (DoD 8570 Baseline certification for IAT Level 2)
- Experience with WINS 2012 or higher
- Experience with implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and
- Experience with performing routine patching
- Experience installing and configuring software applications
- Experience with performance tuning/troubleshooting, identifying/resolving contention in CPU, memory, networking, disk I/O, etc
- Experience maintaining system documentation including reading and creating network architecture diagrams
- Familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Cloud environment
- Familiar with writing/Editing PowerShell Scripts
- Familiar with maintaining applications built on a SQL Server database in a Windows environment
- Familiar with writing scripts to monitor system services, resources, data mine logs, etc
- Familiar with Tomcat 8.5 or higher
- Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher
