Bussers and Food Runners assist their fellow coworkers to ensure a smooth day of service. Our Bussers and Food Runners create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure dining areas are clean, free from trash and debris, and tables are set up properly. Bussers and Food Runners will be serving our guests on our pool deck, indoor dining areas as well as our room service.
What are we looking for?

• An individual with a strong work ethic and have a high standard of cleanliness
• 1-2 years’ work-related experience preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift bundles of linen weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to speak Basic English to communicate with guests and associates
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Has flexibility and ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and Holidays

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a welcoming manner
• Escort guests to their seats; provide highchairs, booster seats, etc.
• Serve water, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages when requested
• Ensure all tables are free and clear of unwanted dishes and residue
• Ensure tables are set up before the opening of the restaurant
• Assist in Room Service as business needs indicate
• Maintain and stock service stations with proper supplies before and after each shift
• Deliver soiled linens to the Housekeeping department
• Assist servers in the delivery of orders
• Assist in the general cleaning and maintenance of the restaurant
• Ensure the floor surface is free of debris at all time.
• Complete setup and breakdown for buffet and Sunday Brunch
• Provide for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a resort, hotel, or fine dining restaurant environment preferred
• Must maintain a well-groomed and polished look
• Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for longs period of time
• Ability to multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
• Must have a flexible schedule including weekend and holidays
