Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. MaineHealth, Vascular Surgery is a fast-paced, growing practice consisting of 9 surgeons and 6 advanced practicing providers who are supported by a team of medical assistants, ultrasound technicians, registered nurses, patient service representatives and surgical schedulers.

Our practice promotes a culture of positivity, respect, inclusiveness, and open communication. The team works together to develop workflows to provide excellent patient care. Our surgeons and advanced practicing providers provide frequent education related to vascular surgery.

This is a 40 hour position allowing for weekends and company approved holidays off. As a medical assistant, you will work closely with the providers in clinic rooming patients, performing wound care, helping with minor procedures, and helping to facilitate further patient care. Some of the administrative tasks include entering referrals, scheduling, incoming/outgoing faxes, stocking and ordering supplies.
