Your Role:
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and according to defined policies and procedures, the Ambulatory Nursing Assistant performs various service duties and technical tasks that are within the CNA scope of practice as defined by the Maine State Board of Nursing. Specific duties may vary by area of assignment. The CNA is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care in a team-based ambulatory practice environment. Consideration of the special needs and behaviors of specific patient populations is required.
