Job Description

CABVI is seeking a BSC Customer Service and Retail Sales Associate I to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Base Supply Center (BSC) store.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of store operations by supporting from off-site location.
  • Process customer online orders, assist with quotes for new orders and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Provide assistance to customers in any way possible and solves problems with customers as they may arise. Maintain beneficial professional relationships with Base personnel to encourage sales.
  • Identify new products by interacting with customers and end users while placing orders and writing quotes.
  • Work closely with CABVI point of contact to resolve issues.
  • Adapt to change and completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Consistently achieves annual performance objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have good listening skills and ability to effectively communicate during difficult situations.
  • Must be proficient in use of point of sale system, inventory control and bar coding requirements.
  • Must be able to analyze sales related data and respond accordingly.
  • Must be willing to adjust to changing technology.
  • Must be able to sit at computer for long periods of time.
  • Frequently required to speak and hear. Vision abilities include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Some travel may be necessary. Must be available for weekend or evening work dependent upon customer needs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Retail or military experience a plus
