Position at MacAllister Machinery

Objective
This position is responsible for assisting with the arrival and departure of equipment, proper organization of the equipment yard, and inventory audits.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with all arrivals and departures of equipment within the yard
• Move equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct minor machine check in/out inspections, checking for visual damage
• Ensure all equipment in the yard is organized in an efficient manner
• Ensure basic maintenance is completed for equipment; refueling, washing, etc.
• Conduct weekly/monthly inventory audits of equipment and/or attachments

Qualifications
Position Requirements
Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 year or more of experience of experience in shop or yard position

• Effective computer and data entry skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn proprietary systems
• Ability to build and maintain effective customer and professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills

• Physical Requirements of Position:

• Frequent confined sitting (at computer, in car, etc.)
• Frequent non-confined sitting (able to move about at will.)
• Frequent standing or walking
• Frequent rapid use of arms, hands or fingers, in handling or manipulating objects, or operating equipment, tools and/or instruments requiring fine eye-hand coordination
• Frequent repeated climbing, bending, crouching, stretching, up and down stairs, or crawling
• Regular unaided lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
• Frequent communication with other individuals. Must be able to able to exchange accurate information when speaking with customers, coworkers, and vendors
• Frequent use of near and far vision acuity. Must be able to identify objects within two feet or less and at a distance of 20 feet.
