Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will appraise damaged vehicles and determine vehicle value. Your responsibilities will include performing physical inspections, documenting damage, and reviewing repair estimates. The ideal candidate is methodical and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform physical inspections of damaged vehicles
Determine the extent of damage
Document repairs needed and review repair shop estimates
Determine vehicle value and provide documentation
Checks quality of completed work before delivery
Prepares final billing for completed repair orders
Maintains professional appearance
Accurately identify the vehicle including (VIN), year, make, model, and options
Identify all primary and secondary damage to the vehicle
Identify parts to be repositioned, removed and reinstalled, removed and replaced, or and repaired
Uses computerized estimating system to develop repair plan and cost of repairs
Ensures compliance with internal and insurance company estimating rules
Completes and submits cost of repairs and supplements to insurance companies
Attend daily shop meetings
Parts procurement and returns
Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and promote internet ratings.
Uses computerized estimating system (CCC1) to develop repair plan and cost of repairs
