Position Overview:

As a CDL Class B Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various destinations. Operating commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses, you will adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of cargo. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CDL Class B license and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and buses, to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards to ensure the safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other motorists.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
• Load and unload cargo as necessary, following proper procedures to secure items and prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery routes, as well as any incidents or accidents encountered during travel.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns that arise.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a timely and professional manner, addressing customer inquiries or requests courteously and efficiently.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class B license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating commercial vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures related to commercial driving.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
