An established neurosurgery group in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. Work alongside a team of board-certified surgeons. Candidates with previous surgical experience as well as recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Full-time, permanent position - neurosurgery, brain & spine
Mix of hospital and clinic responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
Diagnose conditions through physical examinations, medical imaging, and laboratory tests
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
Prescribe medications
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
Qualifications:
California State License
1-2 years of surgical experience
Neurosurgery and/or surgical clinical rotation
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
