VILLAGE INN RESTAURANT SERVER - LUTHERAN LIFE VILLAGES RESIDENTIAL LIVING 

Do you enjoy serving others? Do you enjoy interacting with our senior community? Do you have experience as a server, dining services assistant, or dietary aide? We are searching for a full-time server in our Village Inn Restaurant in our Residential Living Apartments at Lutheran Life Villages.

Full Time & Part Time positions available; includes every other Weekend Hours:

The server will prepare and deliver menu items to members and/or guests, assists with food preparation and presentation, and cleans assigned work areas.

Essential Job Functions

1. Interprets menus to determine appropriate food items to be served. Listens to members' requests and accurately writing their order.
2. Serves food items in appropriate order and fashion according to menu and Village Inn policy.
3. Pours and serves drinks in and/or as requested by resident and/or guest.
4. Refills server station as needed and/or directed by supervisor.
5. Prepares and garnishes some menu items.
6. Cleans table of used dishes as needed, clean set-up and ready restaurant for next meal.
7. Follows sanitation rules related to dish washing.
8. Cleans and/or sanitizes work areas.
9. Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers.
10. Cleans (sweep and mop) floor.
