The organization is seeking a Assembler II to Assembling PIS products.

**Summary:**

The Assembler II is responsible for performing intermediate to advance electro-mechanical assembly operations and basic job set-ups.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Performs assembly tasks using basic hand tools, calipers, and advanced test equipment as assigned.

* Assembles component parts into sub-assemblies and complete fixtures including complex wiring using proper crimps, ties, and loops, etc.

* Performs Functional Test Procedures as appropriate.

* Uses and understands bill of materials and drawings.

* Does job set ups including basic tools, jigs, and test equipment with paperwork as well as setup and use complex machinery including all crimping machines.

* Uses the computer system to obtain stock information, drawings, bill of material and scanning all job travelers.

* Takes direction from Assembler IIIs and Supervisor with the capability to provide technical assistance to Assembler Is

* Operates Thermal Transfer Printer and follows labeling guidelines per LPS-258

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

* Must possess BOM & blueprint reading skills.

* Must be capable of using various measuring instruments such as a steel ruler or calipers.

* Must be have knowledge of Microsoft word, and excel.

**Education/Experience:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Physically required to regularly walk, sit, bend, twist, stand and reach in a normal office environment.

* Constantly required to stand, walk, bend, twist, overhead lift and reach in a varied field environment.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
