Who You Are:

As an Engineering AI Intern at Critical Start, you'll participate in an AI Hackathon where you and your fellow interns will collaborate, innovate, and challenge each other to explore potential solutions that can enhance business value and improve customer experiences. Your day-to-day activities for the AI Hackathon will focus on designing and implementing innovative approaches to specific objectives using Python, GenAI, Large Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and proprietary as well as public data.

Youll collaborate with other interns, engineers, SOC Analysts, and customer care professionals as you design and implement AI solutions and present your progress to key stakeholders on a weekly basis. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving AI innovations within our organization, leveraging your expertise in AI and machine learning to help us remain at the forefront of innovation and push the boundaries of what's possible.

What You Will Be Doing?:
  • Collaborating with our team of engineers and SOC Analysts to design and implement AI-powered solutions using Python, LangChain, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Optimizing AI-generated results by leveraging various LLMs, technologies, and prompts.
  • Exploring the use of agent-based AI solutions to determine optimal utilization.
  • Documenting and presenting findings and results to the team and stakeholders.
What You Will Bring?:

Required Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python (3.x).
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and text processing.
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning and generative models.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based services such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker.
  • Certification in Python or AI-related fields.
  • Experience with public, commercial, and open-source LLMs.
  • Experience in fine-tuning LLMs and prompt engineering.
