Senior DevOps Engineer
Full-Time, Exempt
Location: On-site (Scottsdale, AZ)
Job Description: At Lumifi Cyber, we emphasize practical, effective cybersecurity strategies, focusing on building robust and reliable infrastructures. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between complex operational tasks and the development of high-quality software products. They are responsible for automating and streamlining the software development lifecycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Consulting and Advising:

• Collaborate with management to understand operational requirements for software solutions.
• Provide expertise on information system options, risk assessment, and operational impact.

Mentoring and Team Management:

• Mentor junior software developers, helping them gain experience and assume DevOps responsibilities.
• Oversee and guide the work of junior team members.

Software Development and Configuration:

• Manage the installation and configuration of software development solutions.
• Collaborate with developers on software requirements and interpret test-stage data.
• Develop automated software deployment, configuration and upkeep processes

Deployment and Maintenance:

• Ensure smooth software deployment by writing script updates and running diagnostics.
• Oversee routine maintenance procedures and perform diagnostic tests.
• Document processes and monitor performance metrics.

Best Practices and Security:

• Conform to best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.
• Optimize and enhance a company's software performance.
• Ensure data encryption and security measures are in place.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and security during each phase.
• Collaborate with InfoSec team to comply with security policies, compliance and regulations.

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Minimum 5 years of Terraform (infrastructure as code) development experience, with a strong emphasis on deployment, automation, and maintenance.
• Experience working within Azure.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Extensive experience in DevOps engineering, team management, and collaboration.
• Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Python, TypeScript, Bash, and Java and writing code and scripts.
• Proficient in installing and configuring software, gathering test-stage data, and performing debugging.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to monitor performance metrics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in both writing and speech.
• Ability to problem-solve and think critically.
