About the team
Worldpay's EMEA Compliance Team is part of the Global Compliance function. The Compliance Team has global responsibility for all aspects of regulatory compliance across Worldpay and this includes a number of operational activities which need proactive oversight and management to ensure the success of the Team and helping Worldpay meet its regulatory obligations.
What you will be doing
You will be a key member of the EMEA Compliance Team, contributing to the development of a proactive and positive compliance culture within Worldpay with a focus on the EMEA region.
* Proactively engage with the business to deliver on key activities within the Compliance framework.
* Support in the development of new products and implementation of new processes providing regulatory insight, support and where appropriate, sign-off in a timely manner.
* Support with the interpretation of regulatory rules relevant to Worldpay, making recommendations and working with the business to design and implement procedures to ensure compliance.
* Review of relevant documentations (incl. customer communications, product factsheets and related policies and procedure documents).
* Support on thematic reviews of key business processes to assess the effectiveness of key compliance processes and produce reports outlining key findings and recommendations.
* Develop and maintain compliance related policies and procedures and disseminate them accordingly.
* Provide regulatory support and advice in relation to remediation activities within the business
* Participate in business initiatives and projects providing technical input to support the delivery of key strategic objectives.
What you bring:
* Demonstrable compliance experience in an FCA regulated organisation.
* Detailed knowledge and understanding of the UK and EU regulatory regime, with material experience of interpreting and applying EU Regulations and Directives.
* Strong understanding of the rules applicable to an FCA regulated business.
* Experience of the Payments industry and applicable regulatory regime.
* Experience in leading on the design and delivery of Compliance Programmes in a regulated environment.
Added bonus if you have:
* Knowledge of financial crime regulations, including sanctions, and experience in the implementation of the relevant compliance programmes.
* Experience of regulatory regimes outside of the UK and EEA.
* Project management skills
