**_What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Product and Solutions Marketing defines marketing strategies and manages products and services throughout their life cycles to meet and exceed revenue and profitability objectives. This family identifies customer needs and executes marketing strategies for assigned portfolio(s). This family also defines pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.
The Senior Global Product Specialist will lead core product management activities that will drive growth for the Compression portfolio globally. An ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to execute strategic business objectives that enable sustainable growth. The Compression product portfolio includes global market leading mechanical compression devices such as Kendall SCD 700 system, A-V Impulse system, and T.E.D. anti-embolism stockings.
**_Responsibilities_**
Lead product lifecycle management activities for the portfolio, including but not limited to key projects or programs, change development processes, and data management.
Own manufacturing and supply chain relationships for their assigned portfolio(s). Develop effective communication methods between supply planning, manufacturing, and regional marketing teams.
Lead critical revenue driving projects and effectively communicate project progress.
Become the product expert for all elements of the global Compression portfolio.
Understand end customer clinical practices, patient needs, and global market trends in order to contribute to the global product strategy for the portfolio, working with both regional and channel marketing leaders.
Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of marketing and product management disciplines necessary for building business plans, product plans, and marketing plans.
Capable of working collaboratively among cross-functional teams including R&D, sourcing, manufacturing, enterprise marketing, enterprise contracting, strategic pricing, customer service, finance, quality, regulatory, legal, inventory, regional and channel teams.
Translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business. Accountable for gaining and driving cross functional support from all stakeholders.
Identify and remain current on market trends. Determine product/service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.
Support and launch commercial tactics such as collateral development, content management, and tradeshow planning
Exhibit strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment.
**_Qualifications_**
Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
2 years experience in related field, preferred.
Tenacity and willingness to roll up your sleeves and work quickly.
Capable of multitasking and prioritization to deliver on business commitments
Ability to problem solve and think creatively
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 15%

**Anticipated salary range:** $66,500 - $95,000
