Job Summary
The Assistant Replenishment Buyer is expected to represent Lulus and its mission statement with integrity. The Assistant Replenishment Buyer is responsible for assisting in the development of the preseason investment review planning and in-season product chase of reordering products that will hit revenue targets, optimize conversion, and maximize full-price sell-thru while minimizing inventory risk for their assigned categories. They are also expected to keep a pulse on the latest trends, influencers, and aspirational and competitive landscape for their categories, maintain strong relationships with the vendor community, and assist in identifying sales and consumer insight trends to increase revenue, profit, and market share. The Assistant Replenishment Buyer should be energetic, organized, and determined!

What You’ll Do
Maintain Buy Sheets/plans to match On Order
Perform accurate and efficient data entry tasks, ensuring timely and precise input of information into the designated systems or databases
Communicate regularly with other departments regarding the stock level and merchandise needs
Track markdowns for any aged merchandise
Assist in analyzing and tracking best and worst-selling styles, colors, and materials
Attend all internal business and creative meetings with the knowledge to speak on respective categories
Execution of promotions as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
Negotiate quality, quantity, and delivery with vendors
Utilizing historical data and trends, the Assistant Buyer will help analyze and forecast product performance and inventory levels
Assist in the curation of an assortment that aligns with Lulus consumer profiles, is trend-relevant, and delivers a strong price-value
Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Cross Functional Partners (Development, Planning, Merchandising, Production, and Marketing)
Partner with Replenishment Buyer & Planner to achieve KPI targets and budgets
Assist Replenishment Buyer in identifying in-season product demand
Assist in managing buys to ensure product life cycle is fully realized, with correct quantity at the right time, and be able to exit out with minimal markdown quantities
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree required
At least 1 year of retail buying experience; core/basic buying within the fast fashion sector is a plus
Strong Excel skills, including formulas such as sumifs, vlookups, etc., and pivot tables
Thorough knowledge of trends and fashion
Keen understanding of the Lulus Girl
Excellent communication; written, oral, and group facilitation
Strong retail math skills
Professional, positive attitude
Sense of urgency, highly detailed, and experience in meeting deadlines
Must be able to work independently
Ability to apply logical thinking and sound judgment to a wide range of practical problems

Base salary is part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include an annual bonus and other benefit programs.
