This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in managing complex releases from planning to deployment. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.The Role:Manage technical releases and work with cross-functional teams such as PMO, Engineering, Integration, and Validation to compile lists of changes going into releasesLead change control board meetings, assign the proper responsible lead to the work being discussed, and follow up on the process end-to-endWork closely with the Software Release Manager to define the release contentWork with the Software Quality and Process Engineering teams to continuously evaluate the release and change management efforts to improve processes and remove inefficienciesCreate metrics and dashboards to facilitate a data-driven approach to process improvementWork with TPM teams across the software and hardware organizations to ensure they know what their deliverables are at all times and guide them through the processQualifications:5 years of experience in the areas of software release and/or project managementProven track record of managing complex software projects and releases to closureDemonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work to completionAdvanced knowledge of software development lifecycleExperience with agile and waterfall software development methodologiesExperience with software development and project management tools (Jira, ClearQuest, DOORS, JAMA, GIT, ClearCase, MS Project, ...)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:Experience in embedded and/or automotive SWFormal training in project managementExperience with driving organizational changeEducation:BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science or related fields, MS preferredAt Lucid, we don’t just welcome diversity - we celebrate it!
