As a diesel mechanic at Luciano's Excavation, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the proper functioning of our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. This will include performing regular maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and replacing faulty parts as needed. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of all work performed on equipment and adhering to all safety protocols while working on them.

To be considered for this position, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as certification from a recognized automotive or diesel mechanic program. You must also have at least three years of experience working as a mechanic on heavy equipment, with a strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems. In addition, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
