Description

Job Purpose: To provide fans, drivers, crews and staff with emergency first aid services; to the extent that they are able to return to the event, or that they are stabilized and able to return home; or that they are stabilized and able to be transported by private vehicle to a medical facility; or that they are treated with Basic Life Support (BLS) care until a higher level of care arrives on scene.

Duties:

• · Sets good example for the staff with regard to punctuality, attendance, attitude and hygiene.
• · Responds on foot; or via ATV/UTV when assigned and trained, to reported medical incidents. May be assigned to a fixed first-aid post.
• · Provides BLS care, pursuant to their Emergency Medical Technician training. Does not exceed BLS care, regardless of level of certification.
• · Maintains a calm and friendly demeanor at all times; while simultaneously reassuring customers, through a “no nonsense” persona, that they are in a safe, secure, family-friendly facility.
• · Maintains EMS equipment in a clean, sterile condition; and replaces as required.
• · Completes incident report on all responses and EMS actions.
• · Performs other tasks at the direction of the EEIC.

Requirements

  Skills/Qualifications:

· Possession of a minimum of EMT-B, with national certification. Possession of current CPR and AED cards. Teamwork, Customer Service, Self-Motivated, High Energy Level, Multi-tasking, Resolving Conflict, Verbal Communication
