Job Title: AWS Architect with Database Experience

Work Location: Atlanta, GA (5 days)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Automation SME with Oracle DB knowledge to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in AWS services, particularly in automation using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit), Ansible, and Python. Additionally, a deep understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts is required to effectively design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

1.Architect, design, and implement automated solutions on AWS platform utilizing AWS CDK, Ansible, and Python.

2.Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) (Python and CDK (Terraform can be optional but CDK is mandatory) to automate provisioning, deployment, and management of AWS resources.

3.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient automation solutions.

4.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines processes.

5.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure automation, performance, and scalability.

6.Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to continuously improve automation processes.

7.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

8.Interface with stakeholders to communicate project status, gather requirements, and provide technical guidance.

9.Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in code quality, documentation, and collaboration.

Requirements:

1.Minimum 12 years of experience in IT industry and having 5 years of experience of working as an AWS Automation Architect or in a similar role.

2.Extensive experience with AWS services including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Route 53, and CloudFormation.

3.Proficiency in AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) for infrastructure provisioning and management is essential.

4.Strong knowledge & experience of Ansible for configuration management and automation is essential.

5.Expertise in Python programming language for automation scripting and development is essential.

6.Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.

7.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner.

8.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Developer.

3. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

4. Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch

5. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
