Role: DFT Engineer

Location: Plymouth, MN 55441 100% (Onsite)

Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Timing constraints
2. Simulation, Conduct Code Synthesis
3. Test insertion (Scan, ATPG, MBIST) and Test Support
4. Provide Customer Support
5. Prepare Documentation
6. Mentor junior engineers

Candidate will be using:

1. Synopsys Design Compiler
2. Synopsys PrimeTime
3. Synopsys DFT Compiler
4. Synopsys VCS
5. Synopsys TetraMAX
6. Synopsys Formality
7. Mentor ModelSim
8. Tessent Memory BIST

What We Are Looking For:

1. 8 years of ASIC development and deployment experience
2. General experience in ASIC concepts and design
3. Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
4. Background in BIST, Design for Test (DFT), physical synthesis, static timing analysis, and/or power analysis.
5. Direct experience with Synopsys toolset (ICC2, PrimeTime, Lynx) is a plus.
6. In-depth knowledge of logic synthesis and functional verification, and how constraints are used throughout the design flow.
7. Strong background in Linux and scripting languages.
8. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and data organization skills
9. Self starter, motivated and takes initiative
10. Strong technical problem-solving skills
11. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and web navigation
