Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide excellent patient care in a dental office setting. The Dental Assistant will assist the dental team with chairside procedures, patient care, and administrative tasks.
**Qualifications:**- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a dental assistant program or on-the-job training
- X-ray certification preferred
- CPR certification required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
**Responsibilities:**- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and taking patient X-rays
- Educate patients on oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate patient records
**Skills:**
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Organizational skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages
Pay: 16-18/hr
