Job Description
Salary: $82,000 per year, DOE

If you are looking to make a difference in your community alongside a dedicated and compassionate team, then CCS is the perfect place for you!

Citrus Counseling Services (CCS) is a registered non-profit organization that has been providing comprehensive mental health services to our community since 1978. We have specialized programs for young children, at-risk youth, and victims of crime. In addition to our specialized programs, we offer individual, couples, and family counseling. Our team is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients can thrive.

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Supervisor to work in our Early Childhood Program. The ideal candidate will have experience providing therapy to children 0-8 years old and experience providing clinical supervision to student and Associate clinicians.

As a Clinical Supervisor with CCS, you will conduct therapy sessions using modalities and methods appropriate to the client and the program; develop and implement treatment plans; and monitor treatment progress. You will have the rewarding experience of providing clinical oversight, guidance and support to pre-licensed clinicians.

This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus after successfully completing the 90-day introductory period!

What You'll Do:

Clinical Supervisor

  • Provide support and training where needed to assist pre-licensed clinicians in meeting billable hours requirements, charting, caseload, record keeping and documentation standards, and all other quality assurance standards.
  • Review and co-sign supervisees’ progress notes, clinical forms and correspondences.
  • Facilitate weekly individual and group supervision for pre-licensed clinicians.
  • Communicate any concerns about quality of clinician’s work to Program Director in a timely manner.
  • Attend and actively participate in Clinical Supervisor meetings and/or trainings.
  • Be available “on-call” for crisis intervention and consultation.

Mental Health Therapist

  • Assess, diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
  • Develop treatment plans to establish goals and objectives for client treatment.
  • Monitor client progress throughout treatment.
  • Maintain clinical records in compliance with the agency and/or program policies and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
  • Consistently meet individualized clinical service hour goals.
  • Attend and actively participate in all required meetings, trainings, and other team building activities.
  • Participate in community events, as needed.
  • Perform administrative, development, and other organizational tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality of agency and client information.
  • Commit and contribute to the agency’s Mission, Vision, and Goals.
  • Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
  • Registered and in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Insurable for Professional and General Liability insurance.
  • Minimum of four years post-degree clinical experience.
  • Completion of the minimum six contact hours in supervision training from a state agency or approved continuing education provider.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinical counseling interns.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current behavioral health concepts, principles, and methods of treatment.
  • Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately.

Benefits of Working at CCS:

  • Salaried Exempt Employee Position – eligible for our full benefits package, and paid for all hours worked, not just client hours as in the case for contract positions
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Options – with 90% employer contribution and 50% for qualified dependents
  • Basic Life/AD&D Insurance Policy – additional voluntary coverage options available
  • Voluntary Supplemental Insurance Options – Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Critical Illness and Accident policies
  • Paid Vacation – earned on an accrual basis, approximately 10 days per year
  • Paid Sick Leave – 8 days per year
  • Paid Holidays – 13 days, including the last full week of December
  • 403(b) Retirement Plan - with a 3% employer match
  • Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness
  • Malpractice Insurance Provided
  • Hybrid Work Options
  • Professional Learning & Development Opportunities
  • Supportive and Collaborative Team Culture
