Overview:

Why We Need Your Talents:

Here at Anne Arundel Countys only AAA four-diamond rated hotel, your skills will be most helpful in managing all functions of 310 guestrooms, including 52 suites. You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections of housekeeping operations to maintain standards as well as supervising the schedule of housekeepers.

Responsibilities:

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Ensuring the successful performance of Guest Service Agents, Rooms Control Agents, Night Auditors, and Bell Persons.
  • Supervise the daily operation of services for the hotel room operations, deposits & billing.
  • Address all guest service needs and resolve any service-related problems or issues.
  • Understanding guests' ever-changing needs and expectations.
  • Monitoring order supplies.
  • Perform administrative duties including attendance records & coaching and counseling.
  • Address all departmental maintenance and equipment needs.
  • Assist in managing the budget for the Front Office.
  • Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
  • Achieve measurable goals to ensure the highest level of guest service/satisfaction.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment.
  • Review rooms activities and promotional status with Hotel leadership.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • High School Education or equivalent.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a high-volume hotel, front office, reservations, or room division management or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
