Behavior Technicians must have an exceptional work ethic, patience during challenging moments, attention to details, ability to work well with other Behavior Technicians and Supervisors, and the drive to improve the lives of the clients we work with! The Behavior Technician will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. Our dedicated healthcare professionals provide evidence-based interventions in a fun and engaging family-centered environment. A Day In the Life As A Behavior Technician:
A Behavior Technician provide 1:1 instruction with Little Stars clients in a classroom setting. Behavior Technicians collect data on how the client's are improving on their behaviors/goals each day. Communication, social skills, toilet training, functional play, and gross/fine motor skills are just some of the different things Behavior Techs work on daily with the clients! Have you worked with children with special needs but have never heard of ABA therapy before? No worries, a Behavior Technician goes through a 2 week training course to learn all the skills needed to work with our clients! Little Stars Therapy Services is also providing a sign on bonus to new employees that take the 40 hour certification training before they begin working for LSTS!!
