Little is Hiring a Project Accountant Near Charlotte, NC

Little, nationally recognized as a "Best Firm to Work For" and one of the nation's most progressive design firms, is seeking a Project Accountant with a collaborative work style, could be located in our Charlotte, NC office.
The individual selected for this opportunity will be responsible for supporting the various studios firm-wide. He/ she will work closely with members of our leadership team and Project Managers in all aspects of project accounting as well as with the Finance and Accounting team.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity is a highly motivated curious professional who can multi-task in a fast-paced atmosphere. He/she must be organized, have excellent communication skills, demonstrate a positive attitude, and enjoy collaborating in a team environment.
Responsibilities include:
  • Project billing
  • Project maintenance, including project setup, project budgets and general maintenance of projects in the accounting system (BST)
  • A/R Collections
  • Revenue recognition, assisting forecasting process, project and WIP analysis,
  • Project Manager Training
  • His/her expertise and knowledge are critical in assisting PM's in decision making
The ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting required
  • Two to Five years accounting experience preferred
  • Prefer experience with Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design firm
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Adobe, and accounting software experience (Industry software experience strongly preferred, BST, Deltek, Timberline etc)
