This is a day shift position, Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm.

The Inventory Control Coordinator , under general supervision, keeps systems in balance and investigates inventory discrepancies. Performs daily cycle counts and reconciles any inventory discrepancies found. Coordinates incoming materials, moves products into designated locations, fills shortages as required and processes transactions.

• Accurately maintains computer records of all inbound/outbound shipments.

• Establishes and maintains good working relationships with all other DC and Branches.

• Investigates any OS&D reported by other DC’s, branches, and vendors and reconciles as needed.

• Studies regular inventory reports vs active orders to determine items that can be counted and investigated.

• Conducts daily partial physical inventory audits to verify accuracy.

• conducts a complete physical inventory count annually.

• Provides inventory reports to DC Manager.

• Works with DC manager for approvals as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Will operate various PIT equipment to accurately cycle count product as needed.

• Work Overtime and/or Weekends as required by direct supervisor

• May perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of one (1) year operating Windows and associated Microsoft Office

  applications, including MS Word, advanced Excel skills (required), PowerPoint,

  Access, etc.

• PeopleSoft/JD Edwards experience a plus.

• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes.

• Experienced in operating various PIT equipment.

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.

Salary info:

$20 - $23 / hr
