Here's how you can help. We are currently looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our team and rise to the challenge of empowering service.

Position Highlights:

The senior copywriter works across mediums in a fast-paced environment and takes on a lead role in supporting the global marketing initiatives of the largest service club organization in the world. This key creative role helps facilitate initial concepting, develops creative briefs and creates engaging content to support member-facing and public-facing marketing campaigns. The senior copywriter also plays a key role in amplifying our voice and bringing the dynamic Lion brand to life.

What You’ll Do:

• Writes, edits and proofs content to support LCI global marketing campaigns, products and events, including landing pages, web copy, marketing collateral, video scripts, ads, blogs, email and social content.
• Supports internal accounts including our Lions International convention, content strategy for lionsclubs.org, advertising campaigns, service and membership products.
• Creates engaging copy with nuanced tone and voice across channels and forms, moving from headlines to long-from storytelling with ease and finesse.
• Plays a lead role in managing creative deliverables to support campaigns, from concept development to completion.
• Participates in internal client meetings, facilitates discussions and leads presentations.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on generating story ideas, communication planning and messaging.
• Communicates actively with project team to keep projects and deliverables on track and on schedule.

We’re Looking for Someone With:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer 5-7 years of experience working with a marketing team or in an agency environment, including experience leading campaign concept development.
• Experience with digital marketing, SEO and CMS.
