Position Summary: The primary task will be focused on providing business analytics support including dashboards, workflow automations, and establishing the necessary supporting data pipelines for Space Operations Command, United States Space Force. Successful candidates should have experience developing and implementing mathematical models to solve various problems across multiple domains. Experience and familiarity with the space domain is preferred. * Wrangling data, building pipelines and dashboards, automating workflows
* Developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models to solve various problems across multiple domains
* Ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives
* Work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staffRequired Skills and Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in operations research, data science, or related technical field
* 5 years of experience
* Proficiency with Python
* Programming experience with PySpark, MATLAB, R, SQL, or TypeScript
* Advanced proficiency with Excel
* Experience with data, data pipelines, and dashboards
* Experience developing and implementing mathematical and statistical models
* High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to analyze data using a variety of methods and to uncover trends and insights
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially when communicating technical information to audiences with varying backgrounds
* Strong critical thinking skills
* Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.Preferred Skills and Experience: * Experience in DoD space and/or joint force programs
