Weland Clinical Laboratories, PC is Hiring a Phlebotomist Near Rapids, IA

Founded on February 1, 1965, Weland has been serving Eastern Iowa for over fifty-five years. Weland Clinical Laboratories, P.C. is a full service laboratory, operating four convenient locations. Weland's team of health care professionals is dedicated to providing the highest quality testing in an efficient and caring manner.

We are looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection primarily at long-term care facilities and patient homes in the Cedar Rapids area. Hours are Monday-Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. This position includes an every fourth Saturday morning rotation in our outpatient lab. This position does include a differential of $1.50/hour for shifts providing collection at long-term care facilities. We are closed on Sundays and major holidays!

Candidates must be able to interact positively with patients and co-workers. Must be dependable. Attention to detail, ability to work independently, critical thinking, accountability, and reliability are required. At least one year of previous phlebotomy experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is required. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
