Associate Residential Program Director

Location: Berkeley, CA 9470

Are you a compassionate licensed clinician passionate about supporting individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders? Join our team as an Associate Residential Program Director and make a meaningful difference in our non-profit residential treatment program.

About the Associate Residential Program Director Role

In this vital leadership position, you'll work closely with the Program Director to provide administrative, clinical, operational, and fiscal oversight for our 16-bed residential facility. You'll manage and mentor our dedicated clinical team, ensuring we deliver trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and strength-based care tailored to each resident's needs.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and support our multidisciplinary staff, facilitating therapeutic groups and interventions
  • Assist with contract compliance, licensing, quality assurance, and program oversight
  • Provide crisis management and share on-call responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments and facilitate admissions for new residents
  • Oversee medication management and clinical documentation standards
  • Collaborate with external providers for coordinated, holistic care
  • Monitor program performance and outcomes; identify areas for improvement

What You'll Bring

  • Current clinical license in California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD/PsyD)
  • Management experience supervising clinicians in a therapeutic setting
  • Deep knowledge of co-occurring disorders and commitment to recovery principles
