Responsibilities:
Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
Assist with geriatric care needs.
Assists residents with activities of daily living according to individual care plans.
Observes residents and reports to nursing any changes in physical, mental, and emotional condition.
Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner.
Qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
Can foster good resident and family relationships.
Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
A passion for working with elderly residents.
Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required.
