- Facilitate admissions and assessment processes for incoming patients.
- Provide accurate and ongoing individualized assessments of patient's status throughout admissions process.
- Respond in a timely manner to inquiries about the facility within facility policy.
- Collaborate on a daily basis with other facility medical and psychiatric personnel to ensure appropriate recommendations and admissions, while coordinating admission and transfer between levels of care within the facility.
- Provide accurate education to patient and their families throughout patient stay, including healthcare and social resource systems to empower patient/their families to access resources independently.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Three or more years' experience in nursing practice required.
- Two or more years' experience in behavioral health preferred.
- One or more years' experience in a supervisory or charge position preferred.
- Current RN license as required by state.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
