Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of full-cycle bookkeeping entries
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Conduct technical accounting research as needed
• Generate financial reports for management review
• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process
• Assist with tax preparation for individual and company returns
• Check returns against receipts and W2s for accuracy and ensure there is no missing information

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in bookkeeping in a public accounting firm required
• Previous tax preparation experience preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
