Liberty Resources Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy, PLLC is a highly regarded company in NYS. We are currently seeking Teaching Assistants for our Integrated Center-based program in Syracuse. Our primary goal is to provide a family friendly approach to therapy that involves the entire family in a child’s therapy sessions, as we believe this provides the most success and the best chance for children to generalize new skills to their environments. We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a child’s natural learning environment, a family’s unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we serve. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30 Position Summary: The Teacher Assistant will be working 3 days a week with a group of children aged 2 to 4 years old. Qualifications: High School Diploma Prior experience in preschool, child care, early childhood education or elementary school preferred. License/Certification: Early Childhood Education (B-2) Certification preferred. Students with Disabilities (B-2) Certification preferred. Tier III Teacher’s Assistant Certification. CPR and First Aide certification preferred.
