Our client, a nonprofit organization based in New York, is actively seeking a Contracts Attorney on a temp to perm basis to provide legal and compliance support to the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of commercial contracts and compliance experience. This position is hybrid to their Upper West Side offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of contracts and agreements, including NDAs, technology contracts, investment management agreements and RFPs
• Oversee and maintain the contracts management system; manage procurement
• Counsel and advise on legal and compliance issues; review and update company policies and procedures
• Manage the general legal and business day-to-day company work

Qualifications & Experience:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, admitted and in good standing in New York
• At least eight years of related experience; employee benefits experience and nonprofit background, a plus
• Excellent drafting, negotiating and analytical skills; detail oriented
• A team player yet be able to work independently and collaboratively, with superior interpersonal and communication skills

Pay: $70-90/hour
