SUMMARY:
The Business Office Data Coordinator produces, reviews, audits and distributes a variety of performance and financial reports; develops and implements new reporting tools as necessary; establishes, implements and monitors quality control procedures to validate and produce accurate data; maintains reporting tables within billing system; notifies management when unusual trended data is identified; Provides valid input related to data review; analysis and CBO project planning; maintains user security permissions for specific on-line carrier systems according to our security protocols. Notifies management and/or the Chief Information Officer of security concerns as appropriate.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent; excellent judgement skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; planning, organization, work-flow management, and evaluation skills; flexibility in problem-solving and developing programs. Preferred candidates would have two years in the health care field with specific responsibilities in reporting tools, and experience in producing, interpreting, sorting and manipulating spreadsheet data.
PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:
Physical guidelines include ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; visual and auditory acuity; manual dexterity and motor coordination; mobility.
