This position requires previous experience working closely with customers, business analysts, technical analysts, infrastructure, and application delivery team members to understand business requirements that drive the delivery of quality solutions the IBS Corporate Product Team at FIS offers. These core Banking solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's standards and practices. Prefer that candidates have experience with Software Development Life Cycles for the successful implementation, maintaining and supporting of applications. FIS looks to implement software that is delivered on time, with high quality and within budget. The most successful candidate will have had previous banking applications experience, preferably in the area of PeopleSoft other GL Finance applications.What you will be doing:The Business Systems Analyst role within the Corp. Products Team varies from day to day but will include but not be limited to the following:Working with Clients to determine requirement for their project requestsTesting client project requests to validate functionality before client testing occursResearching issues reported by clientsTesting upgrades in various lower level environmentsTesting upgrades on production implementation weekendsWriting draft bulletins outlining system changesWhat you will need:5 years of demonstrated business systems analysis experienceKnowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratiosProficiency in industry-standard process methodologiesKnowledge of JiraFamiliarity of Service Now Incident, Request and Change ModulesBachelor's in business administration, finance, computer science or information systems or the equivalent experienceAdded bonus if you have:Banking (AP/Finance Dept) experienceExperience with GL applicationsExperience in PSFT and/or integrated ERP systemExperience with balancing from interfaced systems to GLBI Publisher experienceVisual Basic ExperienceWhat we offer you:At FIS, you can learn, grow and make an impact in your career.
