Conduct product reliability testing to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement reliability test plans and procedures.
Analyze test data and provide recommendations for product design enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product reliability concerns and implement solutions.
Monitor and track product performance metrics and identify trends.
Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for product failures.
Utilize tools such as FMEA and DOE to identify and mitigate potential failure modes.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for product reliability.
Communicate product reliability status and issues to management and other stakeholders.
Provide technical support to manufacturing and service teams to resolve product reliability issues.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Participate in new product development projects to ensure reliability goals are met.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve component reliability.
Train and mentor junior engineers on product reliability principles and practices.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of reliability standards and procedures.
What you'll need to be successful: Essential:
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or other relevant technical disciplines.
Strong background in engineering and a passion for problem-solving
Engine control module (ECM), and sensor reliability experience
Detail oriented thinking
Excellent analytical skills
3 plus years of experience
Humble, teachable, and who solve their own problems
