Your Responsibilities as a Sr Project Manager:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects.
• Write and review technical reports and proposals.
• Actively source for new business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
• Hire and manage subcontractors.
• Mentor and train scientific staff in developing quality work product.
• Champion safety and the safe performance of project work.

What we're looking for:

• BA/BS (MS Preferred) in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field.
• 15-20 years of solid technical, project, and client management experience.
• Professional license, PE or PG preferred.
• Ability to mentor and train staff.
• Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong professional network in the Carolinas and Southeast.
• Ability to travel to other Apex offices and client sites and participate in strategy development.
• Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
