The Parker Law Office PLLC is Hiring a Real Estate Closer Near Rocky Mount, NC

Work daily with attorneys, home buyers, realtors and lenders to bring real estate purchases to closing. Creating positive experiences, preparing settlement statements, communicating closing status to stakeholders, coordinating issue resolution, and working as a team with others in the office are key functions of this position. Responsibilities and Job Duties:

  • Work closely with lenders, realtors, buyers and sellers to gather closing costs and facilitate bringing closing to consumption
  • Review contracts and and facilitate closing to occur according to terms
  • Assist realtors and lenders with legal documents and information under the supervision of licensed attorney
  • Identify legal issues affecting closing and title and advise attorney and proper party of the issues and assists in resolving issues so closing can occur
  • Enter information in closing software, prepare ALTA, balance CD with lender per lender requirements
  • Deliver Settlement Statements to agents and lenders
  • Assist buyers in knowing funds to bring to close
  • Ensure payoffs are accurately collected and remitted
  • Review title commitments and ensure closing occurs according to commitment requirements
  • Review title work and bring legal issues to attorney attention and ensure resolution occurs prior to closing
  • Keep agents, lenders and parties abreast of problems that may hinder closing
  • Manage calendaring of own closing schedule; coordinate with attorney and other closers to ensure calendar flows smoothly
  • Prepare checks and balance client ledgers; assist in resolving accounting discrepancies
  • Explain closing process to clients, closing costs, and clarify fees and requirements to close
  • Prepare legal documents under the direct supervision of licensed attorney
  • Conduct closings under the direct supervision of licensed attorney
  • Process cash, loan and refinance transactions independently from receipt of contract to closing
  • Develop positive relationships with realtors, lenders and clients to attract business base
  • Other duties and responsibilities as directed Attorney
