Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Valid Nevada teaching license (Elementary)
• Bachelor's Degree
• Possesses the ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check and fingerprinting.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with strong classroom management, engaging lessons, motivating reluctant learners, building confidence in mathematics, CHAMPS, Technology Integration, Parent Communication, Classroom Management, Statewide Assessments (SBAC, MAP, Science CRT), MTSS, Data Analysis, Kagan Strategies, Differentiated Instruction, conducting small group Tier 3 instruction, etc.
• A passion for working with children
• An ability to build rapport with students
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High energy and a love for interacting with students
• CDA or other teaching certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Implement lesson plans and lesson strategies as it pertains to the classroom
• Maintain classroom safety and cleanliness
• Create an open-door policy for students and parents/caregivers
• Develop a professional relationship with parents, caregivers, and students
• Communicate effectively with the classroom teachers, students, and school administrators
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
• Demonstrates proficiency in technology integration
• Familiarity with Infinite Campus
• Experience working with educational technology platforms such as Google Drive, Edmodo, Seesaw, etc
• Demonstrates high-quality, positive classroom management
• Inspires trust and models high standards of integrity
• Is a “team player” who inspires others by example

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
