About the Role: LSP is seeking an Operations Project Manager to join one of our growing teams in Gibsonia, PA for McVay Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

As an Operations Project Manager in Home Services, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of operations within home services, which could include plumbing, HVAC, and electrical services. This role typically involves managing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of technicians, administrative staff, and other personnel. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Coordinate and prioritize workflow to ensure that service requests are handled promptly and efficiently. This may involve dispatching technicians, scheduling appointments, and allocating resources effectively.
  • Oversee the quality of work performed by technicians and ensure that services meet company standards and customer expectations. Implement quality control measures and conduct inspections to maintain high levels of service quality.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by handling escalated customer complaints, resolving issues, and implementing strategies to enhance customer experience and retention.
  • Ensure all operations comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards by implementing safety protocols, providing training to staff, and conducting regular safety inspections.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage budgeting and cost control within their department, monitoring expenses and optimizing operational efficiency to maximize profitability.
  • Continuously evaluate operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze key performance metrics to assess operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience. Home services experience is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing teams.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is a must.
  • In-depth knowledge of Home Services systems, components, and related technologies, as well as industry regulations and safety standards is a plus.
  • Proficient in using HVAC software, tools, and equipment for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, exceptional attention to detail, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and analyze situations.
