CareerBuilder is Hiring a HR Credentialing and Compliance Specialist Near San Diego, CA

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented HR Credentialing and Compliance Specialist to join a well-known non-profit organization located in South Park. As the backbone of our HR department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all employees meet regulatory requirements and possess the necessary credentials for their roles. This position will be a temporary contract role that will be anywhere from 6-12 months with the possibility to be extended.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage employee credentialing process from start to finish, including verifying licenses, certifications, and qualifications
Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure our organization adheres to all legal requirements
Develop and maintain thorough documentation of employee credentials and compliance records
Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to identify credentialing needs for new hires and existing staff
Conduct regular audits to assess compliance status and identify areas for improvement
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding credentialing and compliance procedures
Serve as a liaison between our organization and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely submission of required documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field id preferred but not required
Proven experience in HR credentialing and compliance roles is preferred
Previous experience in human resources is required
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday
40 hours per week
8:00am-5:00pm PST

Compensation $22.00-$26.00 per hour DOE
